I love telling it like it is. There is nothing more beautiful than the stories of life unfolding, unspooling, unraveling and unctuously brimming with humanity, waiting for a narrator. Just the facts, ma’am, but with kosher salt, neon relish, a sour pickle spear, hot jalapeno peppers, something red and dicey, and a splotch of mustard. (If you’ve accurately recognized the six condiments of a Chicago hot dog in the description above, you’re well-schooled in Windy City journalism.)
